United Erie’s laboratory facilities and personnel are dedicated to serving you well in quality control, in development of new and improved products, in altering existing formulations to suit every particular need, in providing the technical service you need, either in our lab or in your foundry.  Our people are an experienced foundry knowledgeable group, so they understand the problems you face every day.

The company’s commitment to quality is reflected in our state-of-the-art laboratory facilities and our certifications.  United Erie’s laboratory facilities are comprehensive utilizing standard AFS test methods and chemical analysis equipment, ensuring quality products, and services are provided every time.  Our fully equipped sand laboratory provides an array of customer driven sand test data to support our customer’s foundry quality control procedures.

Custom Tolling Services

United Erie operates 8 reactors / kettles that range from 55 gallon to 5000 gallons.  They are constructed of Stainless and/or carbon steel.  A variety of reactions and batch mixtures including exothermic, reflux, multiple stage distillation; full vacuum, pressurization, with a high end temperature range.  Reactors and kettles are mounted on electronic scales for precise metering of chemical products.
